Who is The Diamond Chamber of Commerce?
The Diamond Chamber of Commerce NPC ( The DCC ) is there to serve the interests of businesses in the community while promoting business advancement, economic growth and job creation for the benefit of both Businesses & the Community within our region.
We are committed to the development of programs to promote social responsibility and economic growth, to provide networking opportunities with businesses inside and outside our core region and positively contribute to the relationship between the community and the business sector.
Listening and responding to the ever-changing needs of businesses in our community is a critical part of everything we do - we are here to make add value to your business making your business life easier!
As an organisation we aim to provide value to each member but also to leave a lasting impact on the business community as a whole. As such we deliver our services, products and engagements with the following 3 pillars in mind:
1. Stimulating and Increasing Collaboration
Ranging from networking events to business introductions to assist interested parties in setting up joint business relationships, we aim to not only provide a platform for members to engage other members and critical skills but we also work tirelessly towards playing in active role in bringing the community and business owners closer to each other. This approach we passionately believe will benefit all parties involved in stimulating growth and job creation in our region.
2. Education and Training
Although we are immensely proud of our "Micro Business Leadership" program aimed at empowering micro entrepreneurs and informal traders to better manage and grow their businesses we further provide business owners with information seminars, workshops and access to business coaches to empower them to overcome their obstacles in growing their businesses. By supporting local innovative business ideas, we believe we can help grow our wonderful country into the country we all want to leave to our children.
3. Being a Voice for Business
In the current economic climate, both in South Africa and the world, the need for a responsible voice advocating on behalf of businesses has never been more important. As such we take our role to promote businesses within Tshwane's Region 5, as well as interacting with role players on their behalf seriously. Another important part of this role is playing an active role on behalf of business with the community.
